The Walsh Group Safety Administrator in Austin, Texas

OVERVIEW

We are currently seeking a Safety Administrator for our 183 N Mobility project, in Austin, TX.

The Safety Administrator is responsible for providing administrative support to a Project, Regional or Service Group office. Construction office assistants provide customer service and support to the project team, as well as other vendors and subcontractors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides general administrative support; duties may include following:

  • Receive, sort, scan, and file all required safety documentation.

  • Monitor the incident folder and maintain the incident tracker by:

  • Entering new incident data

  • Generating bar charts, pie charts, and statistical reports as requested

  • Ensure safety form bins are stocked with blank, up-to-date forms for supervisor use.

  • Provide support in scheduling safety events and training sessions.

  • Assist in the creation, revision, and formatting of safety forms and documents.

  • Support the management of third-party auto damage claims.

  • File medical paperwork and help track employee medical appointments.

  • Monitor and verify LYTX event data for accuracy and follow-up.

  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Senior HSE Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Associates degree or some administrative training is a plus

  • 1 year of experience in an office setting

  • At least 1 year of relevant experience

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to take direction and prioritize responsibilities

  • Solid written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to maintain discretion at all times

  • Proficient with MS Office Programs
