Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have healthcare project experience, which includes heavy mechanical and plumbing management experience. An extensive understanding of preconstruction and estimating processes is required.
Provides leadership for healthcare estimating and preconstruction contract phases.There will be heavy mechanical and plumbing construction scopes of work for the healthcare projects.
Project start up (procurement), estimating, and preconstruction
Assist with contractual issues
Establishing and maintain customer relationships
Accurate forecasting of costs for job completion
Quality Assurance and Quality Control plans
Identifies issues to Program Sponsor as required to ensure the success of the project
Assists with preliminary schedules, financial projections, and cost to complete
Qualifications
8+ years of experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred
MEP management experience preferred
Estimating experience required
Success in past client relationships
This position is based in Chicago and will require occasional travel for short periods
