Our Company is growing and so is the Human Resources Department! We are currently seeking an energetic and talented individual to join our team as a Human Resources Generalist in our Regional Office located in Herndon, VA.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and maintain employee records in CMiC system

  • Maintenance can include but is not limited to hiring, terminations, rate changes, address changes, tax changes, transfers, promotions, demotions, direct deposit.

  • Conduct periodic internal audits to ensure compliance with government and company regulations

  • Administer employee benefits such as FMLA leave, living allowances, auto benefits, flexible spending, 401k, etc.

  • Develop and conduct various HR training programs

  • Assist with periodic review and update to various Company policies and/or procedures

  • Generate various reports or develop new ad hoc reports as needed

  • Effectively communicate with all levels of employees including regional offices.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be able to work in fast-paced, detail-oriented environment and prioritize workflow according to both urgency and importance

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

  • Excellent customer service skills, written and oral

  • General understanding of all major US federal employment laws (Title VII, ADA, FMLA, USERRA, FLSA, etc.). A plus if you are familiar with Canadian/Ontario regulations.

  • Previous Human Resources work experience, 2-3 years is desired

  • Working knowledge of MS Office Applications

  • Knowledge of the OFCCP program a plus

  • Canadian experience is a plus
