Our Company is growing and so is the Human Resources Department! We are currently seeking an energetic and talented individual to join our team as a Human Resources Generalist in our Regional Office located in Herndon, VA.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Create and maintain employee records in CMiC system
Maintenance can include but is not limited to hiring, terminations, rate changes, address changes, tax changes, transfers, promotions, demotions, direct deposit.
Conduct periodic internal audits to ensure compliance with government and company regulations
Administer employee benefits such as FMLA leave, living allowances, auto benefits, flexible spending, 401k, etc.
Develop and conduct various HR training programs
Assist with periodic review and update to various Company policies and/or procedures
Generate various reports or develop new ad hoc reports as needed
Effectively communicate with all levels of employees including regional offices.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be able to work in fast-paced, detail-oriented environment and prioritize workflow according to both urgency and importance
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Excellent customer service skills, written and oral
General understanding of all major US federal employment laws (Title VII, ADA, FMLA, USERRA, FLSA, etc.). A plus if you are familiar with Canadian/Ontario regulations.
Previous Human Resources work experience, 2-3 years is desired
Working knowledge of MS Office Applications
Knowledge of the OFCCP program a plus
Canadian experience is a plus
